Who are we?

We, Glenn and Michelle Taylor, were the owners of Mowbray Garden Centre, which traded in Lane Cove, NSW for more than 25 years. Glenn had been operating at the site on Mowbray Rd for 25 years. Michelle joined about 10 years ago at first working part time but eventually full time.With Diplomas in Horticulture and practical experience in Wholesale/Retail we have the knowledge and experience to help you in all aspects of gardening.

Glenn is also a horticultural consultant/designer/landscaper of many years with an artistic eye for detail.

The best part of retail sales are of course the customers. We have a lot of very loyal, extremely lovely customers. Gardeners are among the most friendly people in the world. As gardening is stress reducing.

It is something people for the most part like doing. Serving relaxed happy people was a great way to earn a living. The downside of owning a shop front was the 7 day a week business and not seeing enough of your family. Going mobile will be a way to build up a new client base as well as keeping our existing valued customers. At the same time we are more flexible in our hours which is a great change after so many years on a rigid schedule.
